Arranging the funeral
We listen carefully to every little detail, and look for anything that could make the service that little bit more special.
Our role as funeral director is to make all the relevant arrangements before conducting the funeral service. We work with everyone involved, including the celebrant or clergy, to make sure any special requests from the family, partner or friends have been met by the time of the service.
Those requests might include music, flower arrangements, newspaper announcements, or anything else the family would like to add to the service. We can also put together a photo tribute to be played during the service, collecting the photos and arranging the music for you.
What we look after
- Liaising with the celebrant, priest, minister or elder
- Choosing a venue: our own chapel at Blacktown, the Royal Remembrance Chapel in St Marys, a church, a club, a beach or your backyard
- Music selection and live musicians or choirs
- Flowers, from our floral book or your own florist
- Photo tributes and slideshows
- Newspaper and online funeral notices
- Filming of the service with EVP Films
- Death certificate and cremation paperwork
The funeral process

Consultation
We meet with you and go through all the relevant documents, then help you decide exactly what you want so we can bring your last wishes together.

Arranging
We look after every arrangement needed to make the day as special as possible. You will not need to worry, as our staff take the burden from you.

The Ceremony
On the day of the funeral service we look after you and your family as you come together to celebrate your loved one’s life.

After the Ceremony
After the ceremony takes place, the burial or cremation will follow.
